Personal Uniform
I have mentioned before that white t shirts are a bit of a vice of mine. I love a clean white t shirt and truly feel like you can never have enough. Between spilling food on my shirt, about 100% more likely when your stomach sticks out way farther than it used to, and pit stains (too graphic?) in my too old favorite white t, I justify my purchases and versify my wardrobe with updated white t's at least every season.
A recent favorite has been the Brandy Melville line. Their clothing in general is one size fits all so it is great for madres to be. I prefer the boxier and flowy tops in their classic t shirt silhouettes to the crop tops. Their tops range $18-$25 and are what you would expect for the price tag, but still a good buy. When work trips have me down in Santa Monica I always swing through to get a few updated white ts to replace my ratty ones.
The look below is what I wore to work yesterday. I paired my black TOPSHOP maternity jeans with a Brandy Melville t, favorite Frye boots and Old Navy army vest. This look for me is easy, its something I wore pre pregnancy (COH black jeans instead of maternity pants) and is something know I will wear once the little one arrives.
